Agreement To These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Nonymize. By creating an account, subscribing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The legal entity operating Nonymize may be updated in these Terms once finalized. Until then, references to "Nonymize," "we," "us," and "our" mean the operator of the Nonymize service.

Eligibility And Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use Nonymize. You are responsible for your account, credentials, activity under your account, and for keeping your email address current.

The Service

Nonymize helps users anonymize transcript text by detecting identifying information, generating replacements, and letting users review and finalize anonymized output. You are responsible for reviewing output before relying on it.

Nonymize is an assistive tool. We do not guarantee that every identifier, confidential detail, regulated datum, or sensitive fact will be detected or removed.

Your Content And Permissions

You retain ownership of transcript content and other materials you submit. You grant Nonymize a limited license to host, process, transmit, display, and create anonymized outputs from your content solely to provide, secure, and support the service.

You are responsible for having all rights, notices, consents, and legal bases needed to upload and process transcript content, including content containing third-party personal information.

We do not use customer transcripts to train, fine-tune, evaluate, or improve models.

Healthcare And HIPAA

Nonymize is not for HIPAA-regulated use unless we have signed a Business Associate Agreement with you. Therapists, clinicians, healthcare providers, and other regulated users are responsible for determining whether their use of Nonymize is permitted and may not rely on Nonymize for HIPAA compliance in V1.

We do not sign BAAs for V1. We may provide a Data Processing Addendum on request.

Subscriptions, Billing, And Refunds

• Free accounts may use the free-tier limits shown in the product.
• Pro subscriptions are billed through Stripe at the price shown at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
• You may cancel at any time through the billing portal.
• We do not provide prorated refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.
• Taxes may apply and are your responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse Nonymize, interfere with the service, bypass limits, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, scrape or reverse engineer the service except as allowed by law, use the service unlawfully, or use it to violate another person's rights.

Service Changes And Availability

We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service. We work to keep Nonymize reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or that errors will always be corrected.

Account Deletion And Termination

You may request account deletion. Account deletion deletes your account data, anonymizations, keywords, settings, and contact messages, except billing, tax, security, or legal records that must be retained.

We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service or other users, fail to pay fees, or use the service unlawfully.

Intellectual Property

Nonymize and its software, design, branding, and documentation are owned by Nonymize or its licensors. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the service to you. You own your submitted content and the outputs generated for you, subject to these Terms.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and error-free operation.

Limitation Of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nonymize will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amounts you paid to Nonymize for the service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or $100 if you have not paid us.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify Nonymize from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from your content, your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another person's rights or applicable law.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the date above. Continued use of the service after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
